Rafaela Ungaretti hosted about 250 guests for the launch event of the WolframInside website. The event, which took place in Porto Alegre, Brazil, was attended by professionals in the health area, such as doctors, nurses and laboratory specialists, as well as many people from the community, friends and family.
One very special guest was Mariana Ruic who, like Rafaela, has been also diagnosed with the Wolfram syndrome. Mariana came from São Paulo to honor the project.
Some of the highlights throughout the WolframInside website launch event were the showing of Stephanie Snow Gebel’s and Dr Urano’s videos, in which they express their support and congratulate Rafaela on her project. The guests were also presented with great insight from testimonials from Rafaela’s parents, her neurologist Dr Andre Palmini and her geneticist Dr. Carolina Fishenger Souza.
The purpose of the event was to launch the website hoping that more people will help advertise and promote it. The results prompted great feedback from guests, who right away posted on their social media sharing photos and information about this new Wolfram information channel using the movement’s hashtag #WolframInside.
The main goal of the WolframInside website is to spread awareness of the importance of a precise and early diagnosis. WolframInside also talk about Rafaela’s symptoms, the disease manifestations and prognosis.
